How to use a throw bag:
- Open the throw bag by loosening the drawstring
- Take a few meters of rope out of the bag to keep some slack for throwing
- Firmly hold the rope with your non-dominant hand and throw the bag with your dominant hand to the rescuee
- Aim to get the line within arm’s reach of the rescuee
- Wait for them to grab the rope and pull them to safety
